The 19 Calls

The Angelic Calls — also known as the Keys or *Claves Angelicae* — were received in 1584 at the court of King Stephen Báthory in Kraków. Dictated through Kelley in reverse order (19th first, 1st last), they were understood as verbal keys that open specific regions of the Enochian cosmology. Dee recorded both the Enochian text and English translations. What follows is the text as Dee received it, with word-by-word dictionary references and pronunciation guides in three traditions.
